Road trip through Sedona, Arizona

Sedona has astounding scenery. You just can’t beat the views in Sedona. Red Rock is amazing to see in person, photos do not do it justice. The process of the iron oxide weathering turned the rock its signature red color. The Red Rock scenic byway is a spectacular drive. There are many trails to hike including a 3.6 mile hike near Bell rock. Along this pathway you’ll enjoy fantastic views of Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, and other landmarks.

Built right into the dramatic rock is the Chapel of the holy cross. The views into the awe inspiring desert valley are outstanding.

Also in the Red rock country of Sedona is the Amitabha Stupa and Peace park. Intended for quiet reflection and meditation, we felt a sense of peace and calm. You can walk and spin prayer wheels in a clockwise motion. The peace park is open to people of all faiths and entrance is free.
