Our ship docked in Punta Arenas. We were scheduled to visit the cloud forest and unfortunately the tour company placed us on a wrong tour. We ended up on a bird watching tour on Tarcoles river. We embarked on a small boat from a floating dock. You can also watch these amazing creatures from land on the Tárcoles River Bridge. The camouflage was incredible as it was only a trained eye that could spot the birds.

We saw crested Caracara, Black Hawks, Frigate birds, Kingfisher, Ibis, Egret, Kingfisher, and Herons. We also saw a Roseate Spoonbill.
