A fascinating city to visit in Chile, Valparaiso has many different sides to it. We visited this pre-cruise on a guided tour. The hilltop neighborhoods, are full of beautiful, brightly-colored houses, look down over its busy port and docks. Its steep streets can be accessed by the city’s many funiculars

Located atop Cerro Concepcion, the Paseo Gervasoni is a nice walk that will take visitors past one of the most colorful parts of the city. A cariety of shops, cafes, and restaurants can be found here.

The streets are fiilled with brightly painted street murals and pretty old buildings and cobbled streets only are wonderful to enjoy. Paseo Gervasoni is a wonderful place to spend some time and there is lots of great shopping to be had in the area such as Alpaca sweaters and shawls
